It's been quite some time since I've posted here. Too much has happened to fill you in on all the details but I can give you a basic rundown. Last August Dad brought home a puppy. A white and brown fluffy bundle of pure love, at least in the eyes of my family, and every visitor that happened to come by. I thought she was just plain old pain in the neck at first, but she really, really wanted to be friends so I finally gave in. Sometimes I even let her share my bed. Ellie was with us six months when she was suddenly taken away by a car in front of our house. I don't know if she just didn't know any better or if she had hear that's how I lost my leg and she wanted to be like me. I was really very sad when she was gone.

Two months later Mom brough home a new bundle of fur. Need I say I didn't think it necessary? But Mom was sad and somehow I just don't fill the bill as a lap dog, thought I do try. Well, Sofie is six months old now and she worked very hard to win my heart. I'm her favorite "person", at least that's what Mom says. I guess she's okay. She is fun to play with sometimes, even if she is an ankle biter.
I also inherited a "cousin". Molly moved in with Bethany and Adam last summer. She is an American Staffordshire terrier. Now that she's a year old and a little more settled, we get along pretty good too.
